March empties!!! I made a huge effort to get through foils. Although my efforts don't compare to most of you, I'm still happy that I got through the products I did. I plan to continue working through my samples in April.
Beauty Protector – Protect & Condition Detangler: This is my favorite detangling spray. It works really well on my curls, and smells SO good.
Ojon – Rare Blend Oil Total Hair Therapy Moisture: This oil is great for my dry, split ends. A little goes a long way, so it lasted a long time. I definitely recommend this to anyone else in need of dry hair therapy!
Haus of Gloi – Honeysuckle Lemon Curd Pumpkin Butter: This smells like lemon pound cake – it’s amazing! It has a really thick consistency, so it’s great for winter skin. However, it’s a little too thick & greasy for my taste.
Fortune Cookie Soap – In-Organic Shower Steamer: This released a lot of scent in the shower! I was pleasantly surprised. Once I opened up some products, it kind of got lost. But I did get something out of it, so I’m happy to have received this to try out. I ordered some shower oil and toilet bombs in the same scent.
Kiehl’s – Ultra Facial Cream: This is the best moisturizer for my skin. I haven’t found anything that makes me even contemplate replacing it.
Lush – So White Shower Gel: This is very refreshing, fruity (Apple) scented gel. It also works really well as bubble bath!
Simple – Fresh Face Wipes: Another pack done, another pack purchased. Love these!
Baby Foot – Exfoliant Foot Peel: I only used these last night, so I’m not sure about what kind of results I’ll get. My friend swears these are amazing, though.
Klorane – Dry Shampoo: My favorite dry shampoo. It works very well with my hair.
Lush – Angels on Bare Skin Face Cleanser: I loved the gentleness of this product. However, it was just too messy for me to want to purchase.
Caudalie – Vinoperfect Cell Renew Night Cream: This was an excellent night cream. Although heavier than a regular moisturizer, it applied easily and wasn’t greasy or sticky.
Sixteen92 – Toasted Marshmallow Hand & Body Lotion: The yummiest scent ever!!! I’m fairly new to Sixteen92, so I’m not sure if this scent will come back in stock again. If it does, I will surely stock up on it! It made a wonderful hand cream at my office.
Haus of Gloi – Twice is Nice Sugar Exfoliant: One of my favorite HoG products. The scent is so yummy, and the scrub is an excellent consistency.
Haus of Gloi – Spider Silk Soft Bubbling Scrub: I love these scrubs. They’re great to travel with. The scent was very mild and clean.
Amore Pacific – Moisture Bound Sleeping Recovery Mask: I got three uses out of this, which I thought was great for the tiny size of the sample. It was nice – didn’t feel greasy or sticky – but not all that impressive.
Ojon – Damage Reverse Restorative Hair Treatment Plus: I followed the directions and worked this into my hair while it was dry. I watched an episode of Modern Family, and immediately noticed how much softer my hair was. I then washed & conditioned as usual. This product is seriously a godsend!
Klorane – Smoothing & Relaxing Eye Patches with Cornflower: These are the best! They really tighten the skin under my eyes.
Montagne Jeunesse – Black Seaweed Peel Off Mask: I’m not a fan of the peel-off mask. It irritates my skin, and feels very drying.
Nuxe – Reve de Miel Body Cream: I used this overnight, and I woke up to very soft skin. I usually don’t notice any difference in the morning, but my skin was literally baby soft! I just wish the scent was nicer. If it was scented like the Huile Prodigieuse, I’d be in love with this product.
Nuxe – Nirvanesque First Wrinkle Cream: This is okay. No noticeable difference.
Nuxe – Huile Prodigieuse Oil: I love this product, but it’s really difficult to use from a foil. I do love the spray bottle format, and use it regularly.
Kiehl’s – Calendula Herbal Extract Alcohol-Free Toner: I really love this product. It’s really gentle, and has a nice herbal scent. The only downside is that my cotton round soaked it up more than anything I’ve ever used. Like nail polish remover. Thus, it took A LOT for one application. It would probably work better just using your fingertips.
Kiehl’s – Ultra Facial Moisturizer: Although I prefer the Cream, this was a nice travel-sized option.
Kiehl’s – Daily Face Cleanser: This was a very gentle exfoliating face wash. I liked it, but didn’t love it. It did make my shower smell like I was at a spa, which was fun.
Living Proof - Shampoo & Conditioner: This was okay, but not as great as my HG shampoo/conditioners. I did appreciate the foil size though. I have really long hair, and there was plenty of product. Nice for traveling, but I won’t purchase.
First Aid Beauty – Ultra Repair Hydra-Firm Sleeping Cream: A great night moisturizer. It wasn’t heavy or greasy at all, yet lasted until morning.
Tarte – Blush: I loved this until the formula became really hardened. I guess it’s older (1.5 years?) and the chemicals changed.
Lush – Butterbear Bath Bomb: This was the last in my stash, and I already miss them so much! They’re perfect to add to baths that need a little something extra. While the scent is very mild, it leaves my skin really soft. I hope they come back next Christmas! (Of course, in the meantime, I can just stock up on Butterball )
Lush – Golden Wonder Bath Bomb: I love this one! The blue color inside is just so gorgeous. I added some Rose Jam shower gel to the running water, for some rose scented bubbles. I was shocked at the effectiveness of the shower gel for creating bubbles! It paired lovely with Golden Wonder.
Lush – Ladybird Bubble Bar: Although the description makes this seem very floral, it smelled mostly citrus to me. I guess my nose is weird. Regardless, I loved this bubble bar. It made lots of bubbles and the water was a pretty bright red (not Lord of Misrule red). It was easy to crumble, and the scent lingered in the bathroom for a while.
Lush – Dashing Santa Bath Bomb: This is okay, but not a favorite of mine. I love bergamot scents, but it didn’t really come through. It’s also a slow fizzer, so plan to enjoy in a longer bath.
Lush – So White Bath Bomb: I was surprised by how much I loved this bath bomb. It appears simple, but only the outer shell is white and I ended up with a lovely lavender/pinkish bath.
Lush – Yog Nog Bath Bomb: The smell is yummy, but it makes the water a weird yellow color. Luckily it didn’t stain the tub!
Lush – Floating Island Bath Melt: This vanilla scented delight adds lots of oil to the water, leaving your skin very soft. I paired it with Yog Nog.
Fortune Cookie Soap – ‘Unless’ Pedi Bomb: I thought this might be gimmicky, but it actually made my feet super soft. It also had a nice unisex scent.
