EOS is legit the only lipbalm that has ever given me cheilitis (cracked skin on the corners of the mouth). I've used numerous lipbalms and they are the only one that's ever wrecked me so badly. Mine was not nearly this extreme but it looks like these women have similar dermatitis issues with it.
My HG have become Scenter Square lip butters, they don't use shea either but thanks to them I have not used a lip scrub in like half a year. I don't need to, because my lips are now always soft and smooth.
edit: also just mulling further i wonder if some of these are cause by the stevia feeding a fungus or bacterial infection of some sort?
i.e.: Infectious cheilitis
'Infectious cheilitis refers to cheilitis caused by infectious disease. The terms "Candidal cheilitis" and "bacterial cheilitis" are sometimes used, denoting the involvement of Candida organisms and bacterial species respectively. The term "cheilocandidiasis" describes exfoliative (flaking) lesions of the lips and the skin around the lips, and is caused by a superficial candidal infection due to chronic lip licking. Impetigo (caused by Streptococcus pyogenes and/or Staphylococcus aureus), can manifest as an exfoliative cheilitis-like appearance.'
