Just got my planner from Amazon! It's from Bloom, and here's the style I chose:
It's only $14, so I know I've sacrificed a few things like super-thick paper, a heavily laminated cover (I can see this thing getting pretty beat up by the end of the year!), and layout personalization. But it's a great "beginner" planner. It also has the layout I prefer. Most planners have the vertical weekly layout, with each day represented as a column. I prefer a horizontal layout, with each day as a rectangular, lined block.
Unfortunately, right now they only have "Academic Year" planners, so this thing doesn't start til August. BUT, since my kids are getting out of school soon, I honestly don't have that much going on beyond their T-Ball practices and games. So for now I'll just start collecting a few accessories (stickers, washi tape, and colorful pens!) I can't wait to start showing off my layouts in August!
