That is awesome. Maybe you can inspire me to enjoy lifting more! I did my legs on Saturday and was sore for quite a few days afterwards!
Aww thank you
My fitness inspiration/journey. Putting behind details for those who don't want to see
last August I went to a wedding and met a girl who had lost 30 lbs. She has health problems that make working out difficult. I was also seeing lots of post on FB of my friends with kids who had been working out losing weight and I thought "OK I really have no excuse." So I decided the weekend after I got home from the wedding to make a change.
I work out 5x per week (some weeks less but I have been consistent for the last 9 almost 10 months. I am not gonna lie it is hard. Some days I say f it and eat a cheesburger or skip the gym but I am constantly asking myself if I do x is it helping me meet my goal? Am I ok with that?
I have lost about 22 lbs and am still a ways from my goal weight. I was tracking my inches but after the inital losses even that slowed down so I need to write in my PLANNER to do measurements July 1. I do weekly weigh ins so I don't obsess and I use a fitbit to motivate me. I have just now started to work on my food stuff. Limiting carbs and sweets and adding in weights.
So to all of you saying "I can't do it, that's crazy, insert excuse here" You totally can. Remember little things add up to big things. Just be kind to yourself if you take a day off or eat cake for breakfast, ice cream for lunch and pizza for dinner. Just make yourself get back to the gym the next day.
