Gah, kind of in love with this month's bag. Normally, I'm not on board with lots of neutrals, but this round just works for me.
That bottom shadow is a dark matte cocoa brown, and I've been on the hunt for a matte cocoa indie shadow for a while now. This one is perfect! I just have to remember to not use Pixie Epoxy with it because PE isn't a good thing to use under mattes. And that lipstick! It's like a highly-tinted balm that is more orange on me than the photo suggests. The photo version is exactly the kind of color I wear year-round, and the in-person orangey version is what I've been wanting for the summer, so while I would normally be disappointed at the difference, I'm very happy with it this time around.
I'm still trying to decide whether I like the blush. I wore it with something that it clashed with yesterday, so I wasn't wild about it, but it goes perfectly with these shadows, so I need to just wear them all together. And I'm not sure whether it's subtle on me. More experimentation is needed.
ETA: Next month's theme is "a boy with a golden ticket"! Man, this one will be fun to ponder. Book or movie? Which movie? Which characters? I think this was the second book I read as a wee child, right after Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. I wonder if my dad still has the books in storage. And whether they're moldy (they probably are considering they would have been stored for probably at least twenty years in an attic crawl space in the Pacific Northwet -- not a typo -- under a roof that may or may not have been leaky).
