Update re: Sixteen92's whipped soaps. I bought a couple from this release. They're still very whipped and airy, and they still deflated but not to the extreme like the first round did. It's disappointing to see the deflation, after using Valhalla and Solstice Scents soaps that are still so whipped but keep their stability in the mail.
I feel like I'd be relying too much on memory to compare most whipped soaps, but luckily I have an open SS soap and was able to do a right leg v left leg comparison. The scents are nice and strong, without lingering post-shower. Both soaps are fluffy, with Sixteen92 being both airier and softer (and SS being creamier/slightly denser). Yes the S92 deflated, but I only had to use half as much as SS because it lathered up so well. SS doesn't work well as shaving cream unless you have a Salux or bath puff to work it into a foam.
I think the Valhalla formula is my favorite, but it's the most expensive, even taking size into account. I can't afford to gamble on scents, and because the jars are so big I don't want to get stuck with a scent I don't like. I'll repurchase the seasonal scent that I know I like though. Sixteen92's formula looks the least appealing, and I wouldn't ever gift it even though I like how it works. I'll repurchase in my favorite scents, because they're favorite scents. Solstice Scents is the nicest looking and most giftable. I might pick up a single favorite scent or get a few to gift, but I won't stockpile it like I'm planning to do with Sixteen92's Tea Party.
