I feel you! I wasn't one of the kickstarter backers (didn't even know kickstarter was a thing until about 6 months ago) but I feel like the backers definitely should have been able to order at least a day in advance of the general opening.
I also feel like they just threw this launch together REALLY fast, they didn't hardly hype it up enough. Especially considering that the EC BoomBox Facebook page has a measly 116 "likes". I know that the "likes" on a page don't determine how well something will sell but it all seemed odd to me. I'm assuming that most of the subscribers now will be the original backers, which also doesn't help the product grow.
Finally, why did they do the launch SO FREAKING LATE when they had to know there would be some issues? I've never witnessed a product launch where there are zero snafu's and they were obviously having them re: backers gift cards not working, website not loading etc.
Anyway, I hope that the first box is awesome. The beta boxes I received were pretty amazing, I just hope they can keep up the trend. I'm sorry you had so many issues last night but I'm glad it all went through for you...
