I just got my Heather's Hues monthly box, and both of the polishes are gorgeous! I somehow missed that they were including fimo flower slices (they're right there in the photos and description, but I just didn't see them), so that was an awesome surprise. They're really cute.
As far as application goes, the one I tried (Make Love, Not War since it's the darker of the two, and I chopped my nails off last night since I had a couple on the verge of breaking. I prefer wearing dark polish when my nails are this short) was goopier than I'm used to, but I am chalking that up to the amount of glitter and flakies in here since Rainbow Honey glitters are even goopier than this (which is one of the reasons I don't really use their glitters even though I have several of them). I think there are two or three different micro glitters, holo sparkle, and a couple of flakies. I don't think I've ever had a polish with this many different things going on in it. I really want to see how this looks under a matte top coat, but for now, I'll stick with my Rainbow Honey top coat (twisted ice tea scent). Oh, and the cuticle oil pen: I haven't tried it yet, but I did sniff it, and I'm totally not regretting opting for the scent of the month! I would actually like it as a hair oil.
So my verdict: I'll be keeping an eye on future boxes. The formula isn't the best, but I wonder if that might be due to all of the stuff in it that makes it look really, really cool. so for me, it's just the price I have to pay. I haven't used any of the vinyls or fimo slices because I want to see how it wears with my usual base/top coats and without any of the stuff on it. And I think my purple VW van vinyl needs to go on the side of my green Helmer once my nails cure a bit more. It's probably paranoia, but I don't want to risk getting them stuck on adhesive right now.
