Pretty much my exact reaction, although I used considerably more expletives. The bad polishes are polish batches were apparently made/sold between April and June or July, so these would theoretically be made with a different base, but I don't trust them, especially given the horrible way they're reacting to the complaints. I think the reason the neons are getting the most attention is because they were launched during this time period, so those are the ones that were getting the most attention and presumably sales during this time.
(I don't think this part has been mentioned here: There were a couple of stockists that were selling Mentality polish. When people who had bought polish through the stockists asked where they should go for replacements/refunds, they were directed to the stockists. When the stockists tried to figure out WTF had happened and how they could get this sorted out through Mentality, the company promptly terminated their relationship. So Mentality is telling customers to go through the stockists, but Mentality isn't working with the stockists to make things right with them.)
ETA: And now it's coming out that there was a Mentality swatcher that this happened to in SEPTEMBER.
