oh man, so an update on the shoes
I wore the short boots with the faux-Tribal pattern on Thursday and today, and they are kind of crap. I mean, i didn't complain about them when I got them, but the balance is really terrible. The heel of the shoe is curved in so it's on you bone rather than where most of your weight would be, if you stood up straight, and the front curved up so maybe only 2/3rds of the front of your foot has its weight placed on it which ???
anyway, i was walking to starbucks today, and the area in front of my apartment is that black tar stuff instead of concrete, and I fell. I didn't slip on anything and it wasn't wet/rainy, there was just a minor incline and I could feel the traction of the shoe go as I slid. bleh.
I'm not too salty about it since these shoes were rather cheap, but they are definitely worth less than $15, not whatever initial price point i'm sure ModCloth has tried to sell them at.
I've always rather enjoyed ModCloth's curation, but I just feel like the prices keep going up while the quality gets cheaper and cheaper. Sigh.
