Can I jump in with my own frustrating shipping story? I ordered from an Etsy seller in mid-August, with a TAT of two weeks. No problem. The shipping label was created on a Saturday, but tracking showed no movement beyond that. I messaged the seller with no response. The following Wednesday (which is when it should have gotten to me if actually shipped Saturday), I opened a DNR with Etsy. Instantly the seller replied, pleading for me to be patient and she absolutely shipped it Saturday. I agreed, knowing that USPS doesn't always update their scanning. The following Friday (almost a week after the seller claimed she shipped it) USPS updated that it had been accepted at the seller's PO. I called them to verify there's no way the PO would have held a package for a week before scanning it as accepted.
Basically the seller misinformed me of when she shipped it, and I'm really annoyed. She's offered reasonable solutions that I'll take her up on when I actually receive the items, but how hard is it to be honest and say "whoops, my bad, I'll get on that ASAP, here's a coupon to make up for it"? I wouldn't be so upset if she had just told me the truth -- I can be patient! But I spent a ton of money at this shop to get a runaround, and that's just not cool.
