The Great Match. It's about three remote tribes in Mongolia, Niger, and Brazil trying to watch the last game of the 2002 World Cup. I saw it at a film festival years ago and haven't found anyone else who has even heard of it since. It's an absolutely gorgeous movie, and it's hilarious to watch the Brazilian tribe in particular because of what they have to do in order to watch it. No knowledge of sports is required because the vast majority of the movie is about the journey and the lengths they will go through. It's basically a road movie through the tundra, the desert, and the Amazon jungle, and the GOOOOOOOOOAALLLLLLLL! is incidental.
