Although I did typical teenage stuff, I wasn't really a "wild" kid. The most outlandish thing I ever did happened in fifth grade. There was a family finding homes for their kittens, and I wanted one, so I told them my parents had given the OK. They sent me home with a permission slip, which I proceeded to forge my mom's signature, and brought home the kitten the next day.
I literally gave NO THOUGHT to how I was going to explain a kitten to my parents, and of course, my lies didn't add up, so she (my mom) called the school, who told her about the permission slip and I got IN SO MUCH TROUBLE.
I got to keep the kitten though, so.... did I really get punished?
