I'm all about textures, too! I hate raw tomatoes (I think the reason I can handle cooked tomatoes is because they're usually with something else that you have to chew, like pasta or pizza crust), mushrooms, eggplant, bananas, mangos, and any other slimy, mushy food. Yogurt is okay if I mix in something crunchy, like granola, and I love mashed potatoes in theory (because potatoes!), but I don't really like them unless they have something mixed in them, like chunks of turkey or corn. Ice cream needs chunks in it, too. I was miserable when I had oral surgery and couldn't eat solid and/or crunchy food for what seemed like eternity but was really only something like a week.
ETA: My cousin found a site with 31 freezer crock pot meals. It looks like you might put everything together ahead of time in a one-gallon freezer bag, toss it in the freezer, and then thaw and toss it all in the crock when it's time to make dinner: http://newleafwellness.biz/2015/08/06/31-crockpot-freezer-meals-for-back-to-school/
