I didn't get a photo, but I made a pasta sauce with plum tomatoes, onion, garlic, basil, and way too much chicken stock base. I should have skipped the base and added kalamata olives. Celery and/or carrots would have been good in there, too.
I love slow cooker meals! i prefer ones where you just dump everything in and don't have to mess with braising or chopping because then I can do them on workdays, but something that involves prep steps is good on the weekends. Especially Sundays. That way, I have leftovers for days during the workweek. I hate dealing with cooking during the week. I only did it tonight because the tomatoes were on the verge of going bad.
